Product Details

These Modal-blend drop-needle scuba trousers combine a clean pull-on waist with a straight wide leg and fine vertical surface channels. The rose shade softens the structured silhouette, while the medium-heavy knit provides enough body to keep the leg line controlled. The style is particularly suitable for capsule collections that need a comfortable bottom with a more polished appearance than standard lounge pants.

Fabric composition 49.5% Modal, 45.5% polyester, 5% spandex
Fabric weight Approximately 280–290 GSM
Knit structure Drop-needle scuba with vertical textured channels
Fit direction Pull-on waist with a straight, full-length wide leg
Collection role Coordinated sets, travel capsules and elevated casualwear

A Modal-Rich Scuba Built for Clean Vertical Lines

Soft Handfeel Without Losing Body

Modal gives the fabric a smoother touch and softer drape, helping the trousers fall naturally from the hip. Polyester improves dimensional stability and keeps the wide-leg shape from appearing overly fluid. Five percent spandex adds movement through the waist, seat and knee while supporting recovery after sitting and repeated wear.

Using the Finished GSM as the Approval Standard

The 280–290 GSM range should be confirmed on the finished fabric after relaxation and washing. Weight variation can affect opacity, waistband support and leg fall. Bulk approval should therefore include GSM, width, shrinkage, recovery and surface definition rather than relying on composition alone.

Waist Fit, Texture Direction and Trouser Balance

Preventing Waistband Rippling

The self-fabric waistband needs the correct elastic tension to remain secure without gathering the upper edge excessively. Finished waist measurement, rise and seat ease should be approved together because changing one area can alter how the waistband sits on the body.

Keeping the Drop-Needle Channels Straight

The vertical texture makes twisting and cutting distortion easy to notice. Fabric should be fully relaxed before cutting, and both leg panels must follow the same grain and texture direction. Inseam balance, side-seam position and hem level should be checked again after washing.

Suitable for Coordinated Lifestyle Capsules

The trousers can be paired with a matching zip jacket, fitted top or relaxed pullover in the same material. Their clean front and straight leg work for travel, elevated loungewear and casual lifestyle collections. The fabric platform can also support several related silhouettes without changing the core material story.

Customization for Coordinated Bottom Development

Capsule-program development may include:

  • Alternative colors and matching top designs
  • Adjustments to rise, inseam and leg opening
  • Internal elastic, drawcord or reinforced waistband options
  • Optional side pockets, vents or contrast piping
  • Brand labels, hangtags and customized packaging

Buyer FAQs for Drop-Needle Scuba Trousers

Is this fabric heavy enough for wide-leg trousers?

Yes. The 280–290 GSM weight gives the leg sufficient body, provided recovery and opacity are approved in the final color.

Can the leg shape be narrowed?

Yes. Knee width, hem opening and overall sweep can be adjusted during sampling for straight, relaxed or slightly tapered versions.

Should the drop-needle texture match at the seams?

The channels should remain parallel and consistent. Exact pattern matching may depend on the fabric repeat, but visible twisting should not be accepted.

Which measurements require special attention?

Finished waist, front and back rise, inseam, leg opening and post-wash length are the main approval points.

Confirming Finished Rise and Texture Direction Before Grading

Review the approved sample for waistband recovery, seat ease, channel alignment, knee growth, hem balance and post-wash inseam. For sampling and quotation, provide the target quantity, size range, finished measurements, color references, matching-set requirements, branding details and technical files.
