310 GSM Recycled Fleece with Soft Everyday Warmth
Textured Surface and Lightweight Insulation
The recycled polyester fleece has a soft raised surface that provides warmth while retaining a flexible, relaxed drape. At 310 GSM, the fabric offers enough density to hold the collar, pocket and hem channel without creating the bulk of a heavier winter fleece. Surface uniformity, pile direction and shade consistency should be checked before cutting.
Dimensional Stability and Surface Performance
Recycled polyester supports shape retention through the body and sleeves. Bulk fabric testing should cover shrinkage, pilling resistance, colorfastness and surface recovery so the garment retains its approved dimensions and appearance after laundering. Recycled-content documentation should be confirmed with the selected fabric source when certification is required.
Stand Collar and Half-Zip Opening
The raised collar provides additional neckline coverage and allows the pullover to be worn fully closed or partially opened. Collar height, opening circumference and zipper length should be approved together so the neckline remains comfortable and both collar sides finish evenly.
Zipper tape, binding and fleece may feed differently during sewing. Stabilization and controlled machine tension help prevent waviness or twisting around the zipper opening. Puller style, zipper tape color and tooth finish can be customized according to the collection direction.
Front Pocket and Dropped-Shoulder Proportion
The front pocket provides practical hand access while maintaining a clean pullover silhouette. Pocket height, entry position and reinforcement should be tested on body so both openings remain symmetrical and easy to use without pulling the front panel out of shape.
Dropped shoulders create relaxed upper-body volume and support comfortable layering over tanks or fitted long-sleeve tops. Shoulder width, armhole depth and sleeve pitch should be reviewed together so the sleeves hang cleanly without excessive fabric beneath the arms.
Elasticated Cuffs and Adjustable Drawcord Hem
The sleeve openings use gathered elasticated cuffs rather than heavy rib trims. Elastic width and extension should provide secure recovery without creating pressure around the wrists. Both cuffs should remain equal in finished circumference after washing.
A drawcord channel with side toggles allows the lower opening to remain straight or gather closer to the body. Cord length, channel height and adjustment range should be tested so the hem tightens evenly without twisting the side seams or lifting the front body.
Contrast Binding and Matching-Set Coordination
Contrast binding defines the collar, pocket openings and lower edges while protecting the fleece from stretching during wear. Binding width, extension and stitch tension should remain consistent around curved and straight sections.
The pullover can be coordinated with matching dolphin shorts, pants or fleece vests using the same mint fabric and trim direction. Fabric shade, zipper tape, toggles, binding and sewing thread should be approved under one color standard.
Custom Options for Private Label Programs
Private label recycled fleece pullover development may include:
- Alternative recycled fleece weights, pile heights and finishes
- Custom collar heights, zipper lengths and puller designs
- Adjustments to shoulder width, sleeve volume and body length
- Front pockets, zipped pockets or concealed pocket constructions
- Elastic, drawcord or fixed straight lower-hem options
- Custom logos, labels, hangtags and branded packaging
Sample approval should confirm the fleece surface, collar comfort, zipper alignment, pocket position, cuff recovery, drawcord function and post-wash measurements before bulk cutting begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the fabric made entirely from recycled polyester?
Yes. The supplied composition is 100% recycled polyester. Required certification and transaction documentation depend on the selected fabric source.
Can the hem be produced without drawcords?
Yes. The lower opening can use a straight hem, internal elastic, fixed binding or an adjustable drawcord-and-toggle system.
Can the half zipper be made longer?
Yes. Zipper length, collar height, puller finish and opening depth can be revised during pattern and sample development.
What should be approved before manufacturing?
Confirm fleece weight, pile direction, surface texture, collar shape, zipper stability, pocket construction, cuff recovery, hem adjustment, pilling performance and finished measurements.
Confirming Hem Adjustment Before Zipper and Bulk Measurements Are Released
Review the sample for collar comfort, zipper operation, shoulder balance, sleeve volume, pocket access, cuff recovery, drawcord placement and finished body length. For sampling and quotation, provide the target quantity, size range, preferred fit, zipper requirements, hem construction, color standard, recycled certification needs, branding details and any available technical files.
