Product Details

This printed sherpa zip vest combines a dense pile surface with an all-over spotted print, a stand collar and a clean full front opening. The sleeveless shape allows easy layering over fine knitwear, long-sleeve tops or sweatshirts without adding sleeve bulk. Developed for casual outerwear, streetwear and lifestyle collections, the vest gives brands a visually distinctive cold-season layer that can be merchandised as a standalone piece or within a coordinated capsule.

Outer fabric 360 GSM printed Sherpa: 100% polyester
Lining 100% nylon
Fit Relaxed sleeveless silhouette designed for layering
Design details Stand collar, full front zipper, contrast knit trim and side-entry pockets
Suitable for Casual outerwear, streetwear, travel and private label layering collections

360 GSM Printed Sherpa with Smooth Nylon Lining

Dense Polyester Pile and Surface Definition

The outer fabric is a 360 GSM polyester Sherpa with a printed surface. Its raised pile gives the vest visible texture and body, while the print adds depth without requiring embroidery or patchwork. During development, pile height, print clarity and shade balance should be reviewed together because the raised surface can soften the edges of small motifs.

Lining for Easier Layering

The 100% nylon lining creates a smoother inner surface, helping the vest move more easily over knit tops and fitted base layers. Lining ease must be controlled so it does not pull the outer shell inward or show below the hem. The armhole and front-edge finishing should also remain flat despite the thickness difference between Sherpa, lining and trim materials.

Print Repeat, Pile Direction and Zip Alignment

Printed Sherpa requires careful cutting because pile direction and motif placement can change the appearance from panel to panel. The left and right fronts should look balanced, while the collar should follow the same directional standard as the body. Random-looking prints still need an approved repeat and cutting plan for consistent bulk results.

The front zipper and contrast knit facing create strong vertical lines. Zipper insertion, collar height, pocket position and hem level should be checked during sampling and in-line inspection. These controls help the vest keep the approved shape and print balance through bulk production.

Layering Position for Casual Outerwear

This vest works well over turtlenecks, fitted jersey tops, sweatshirts and lightweight knitwear. The printed pile gives neutral outfits a stronger focal point, while the sleeveless construction suits transitional weather and indoor layering. It is better positioned as fashion-led casual outerwear than technical performance fleece.

ODM Options for Sherpa Vest Programs

Printed Sherpa vest development may include:

  • Custom print artwork, scale, repeat and ground colors
  • Alternative Sherpa weight, pile height and hand feel
  • Custom lining colors, zipper finishes and knit trim shades
  • Changes to body length, collar height, pocket shape and armhole depth
  • Woven labels, care labels, hangtags and branded packaging

Product Development FAQs

How should the printed Sherpa pattern be approved?

Print scale, color, repeat and appearance on the raised pile should be confirmed against an actual fabric or garment sample before bulk cutting.

Can the lining and knit trim colors be changed?

Yes. Lining, zipper tape and knit trim colors can be coordinated with the print after material availability and sample compatibility are reviewed.

What are the main bulk-production checks?

Key checks include pile direction, print balance, zipper alignment, lining ease, collar symmetry and consistent pocket placement.

Approving Print Scale and Pile Direction Before Cutting

Before production is scheduled, review the print repeat, pile direction, lining balance, zipper specification and trim colors on the approved sample. For an accurate quotation, provide the target quantity, size range, print artwork, preferred trim details and any technical files.
