Product Details

This 2x2 rib Henley long-sleeve top combines a close-fitting body with a round neckline, extended button placket and clean full-length sleeves. The ivory color keeps the design easy to layer, while the 250 GSM cotton-rayon rib knit provides more substance than a lightweight basic jersey. It suits everyday womenswear, elevated basics, loungewear and transitional layering collections.

250 GSM Cotton-Rayon Rib with Everyday Density
Cotton Comfort and Surface Definition
Cotton provides breathable comfort and helps the vertical rib lines remain clear across the body and sleeves. At 250 GSM, the fabric has enough weight to support a fitted silhouette without becoming too heavy for layering.
Rayon Softness and Controlled Drape
Rayon softens the handfeel and reduces the stiffness often found in dense rib fabrics. The body should follow the wearer cleanly while maintaining a smooth surface around the bust, waist and sleeves.
Eight Percent Spandex and Rib Recovery
The high spandex content provides substantial stretch for close-to-body comfort. Recovery testing should confirm that the neckline, elbows, cuffs and hem return to shape after wear. Fabric relaxation before cutting is necessary to stabilize width and finished measurements.
Henley Placket and Button Spacing
Keeping the Center Front Flat
The placket should remain straight without twisting or rippling. Internal reinforcement must control stretch while preserving flexibility. Both placket edges should match in length and width after washing.
Controlling Button Position
Button spacing needs to remain even from neckline to placket end. Buttonholes should sit flat and avoid cutting through unstable rib valleys. The lowest button position should allow movement without causing the front opening to pull.
Round Neckline and Binding Stability
The neckline should sit close to the body without gaping or rolling. Binding length, attachment ratio and stitch tension require approval after laundering because rib fabric can relax around the opening.
Fitted Sleeve and Body Proportions
Sleeve circumference, body width and armhole depth should be checked together. The fit should remain close without creating horizontal strain lines. Side seams and sleeve seams need to stay straight after repeated stretch and washing.
Wash Shrinkage and Surface Consistency
The fabric should be tested for shrinkage, pilling, colorfastness, seam growth and rib distortion. Bulk standards should define acceptable width, weight and vertical rib alignment so garments remain consistent across sizes and production lots.
