Mixed-Fiber Knit Body
The main fabric contains 37.2% polyester, 36.3% cellulosic fiber and 26.5% viscose. Within this blend, polyester supports shape stability, while the cellulosic and viscose content brings a softer touch and a more fluid fall through the body. The open-looking knit texture creates visible surface interest and works particularly well in neutral, earthy and natural color directions.
Linen Binding & Relaxed Fit
The neckline, armholes and front placket are finished with 100% linen binding. Its drier texture creates a subtle contrast with the softer main fabric and gives the edges a cleaner visual line. The straight, relaxed fit sits away from the body rather than following a close athletic shape. A scoop neckline keeps the upper section open, while the ribbed hem helps the garment settle neatly around the hip.
Construction Details & Production Control
This style brings two materials together, so the main production focus is the relationship between the knit body and the linen binding. Binding tension needs to remain even around the neckline and armholes to prevent pulling, twisting or wavy edges after pressing. The front placket also requires consistent width, balanced button spacing and straight center-front alignment.
Sample and in-line checks should cover armhole shape, side-seam balance, hem recovery, button security and the response of the fabric to pressing. These controls help keep the approved appearance consistent when the style moves from development into repeatable bulk production.
