This custom women’s knit midi skirt combines a wide elasticated rib waistband with a relaxed straight body, practical side pockets and a side slit for easier movement. The 240 GSM cotton-modal knit provides a soft surface and natural drape, while T400 polyester supports recovery through the hip and lower body. A small tonal embroidered motif adds subtle branding without interrupting the clean light-heather-grey appearance.

The 60% cotton content provides a familiar, breathable handfeel suitable for relaxed skirts worn through travel, indoor and everyday casual settings. At 240 GSM, the fabric offers sufficient coverage for a straight skirt silhouette without creating the heavy appearance of thick sweatshirt fleece.
Modal Fluidity and T400 Recovery
Modal softens the surface and helps the skirt fall more naturally from the waistband through the hip. The T400 polyester component supports recovery and dimensional stability, helping the body retain its approved width and length. Shrinkage, stretch recovery and post-wash measurements should be checked before bulk grading is released.
360 GSM Rib Waistband and Fit Stability
The heavier rib waistband provides stronger stretch and recovery than the main body fabric. Its 47% cotton, 47% modal and 6% spandex composition supports a close but comfortable fit around the waist while allowing the skirt to be pulled on without a zipper or button closure.
Waistband height, elastic tension and attachment ratio should be approved together. Uneven extension may create twisting, concentrated gathering or an irregular top edge. The waistband should remain level across the front, sides and back after laundering.
Straight Midi Shape with Side-Slit Movement
The body maintains a relaxed straight line from the upper hip toward the lower hem. Hip width, total length and lower opening should provide enough room for sitting and walking without making the skirt appear oversized.
A side slit increases movement through the below-knee length. Slit height, placement and reinforcement should be confirmed during fitting so it opens naturally during walking while remaining stable at the upper endpoint.
Angled Side Pockets and Tonal Embroidery
Angled side pockets provide practical hand access while maintaining a minimal front appearance. Pocket opening length, bag depth and reinforcement should be checked on body so the edges remain flat and do not pull away from the hip.
A small tonal embroidered motif is positioned near the lower front body. Artwork size, thread shade, backing and stitch density should be tested on the actual fabric to prevent puckering while keeping the branding understated.
