Product Details

This custom women’s short-sleeve half-zip sweatshirt combines a softly structured stand collar with a metal half zipper, relaxed dropped shoulders and wide short sleeves. The 280 GSM modal-polyester stretch knit provides a smooth surface and fluid handfeel, while 7% spandex supports movement and recovery. Tonal script embroidery and a wide lower hem band complete the blush-pink style for lounge, travel and coordinated casual collections.

Modal-Blend Stretch Knit with a Smooth Structured Drape
Modal Softness and Clean Surface Appearance
The modal content gives the fabric a smooth, soft touch and helps the body fall naturally from the extended shoulder line. At 280 GSM, the knit provides enough structure to support the collar and zipper opening while remaining more fluid than a conventional heavyweight sweatshirt fabric.
Polyester Stability and Spandex Recovery
Polyester supports dimensional stability, while 7% spandex provides flexibility through the neckline, shoulders and lower body. Stretch recovery, shrinkage, spirality and colorfastness should be tested before bulk production so the approved body length and opening measurements remain consistent after laundering.
Stand Collar and Half-Zip Construction
The raised collar provides light neckline coverage and allows the style to be worn fully zipped or partially open. Collar height, opening circumference and zipper length should be approved together so the neckline remains comfortable and both collar sides finish at the same height.
Zipper tape and stretch knit may feed differently during sewing. Stabilization around the opening helps prevent rippling, twisting or an uneven zipper endpoint. Puller shape, zipper finish and tape color can be customized according to the collection direction.
Dropped Shoulders and Short-Sleeve Proportion
The extended shoulder line creates relaxed upper-body volume and gives the top a softer lounge silhouette. Shoulder width, armhole depth and sleeve opening should be reviewed together so the sleeves provide comfortable coverage without appearing stiff or overly wide.
The folded short-sleeve finish should remain symmetrical on both sides. Stitch extension and seam allowance must suit the stretch fabric to reduce tunneling, waviness or outward rolling after washing.
Wide Lower Band and Tonal Embroidery
A wide self-fabric lower band controls the relaxed body and creates a defined waist-length proportion. Band circumference and attachment ratio should prevent the hem from riding upward while still allowing the top to coordinate comfortably with high-rise shorts or pants.
The tonal script embroidery adds subtle branding at the chest. Artwork size, thread shade, stitch density and backing should be tested on the actual knit to preserve clear lettering without creating puckering or stiffness around the logo.
Matching-Set Development for Lounge Collections
The blush-pink top can be coordinated with matching dolphin shorts, straight-leg pants or skirts using the same modal-blend fabric. Body fabric, sewing thread, embroidery thread and zipper components should be approved under one color standard to reduce visible shade differences between garments.
Custom Options for Private Label Programs
Private label half-zip sweatshirt development may include:
- Alternative modal-polyester ratios, weights and surface finishes
- Custom collar heights, zipper lengths and puller designs
- Adjustments to shoulder width, sleeve length and body proportion
- Straight hems, elastic hems or alternative lower-band widths
- Embroidery, heat transfer, appliqué or woven logo applications
- Matching bottoms, labels, hangtags and branded packaging
Sample approval should confirm the collar comfort, zipper stability, shoulder balance, sleeve opening, hem recovery, embroidery quality and post-wash measurements before bulk cutting begins.
