Customization & Development
Product Details

This custom suede-touch trucker jacket combines the familiar structure of a snap-front denim jacket with a softer brushed surface and comfortable stretch. The 420 GSM polyester-spandex fabric provides substantial body for the collar, pockets and shaped panel seams, while the warm stone-beige color gives the style a cleaner direction for transitional outerwear, casual lifestyle collections and contemporary workwear programs.

420 GSM Suede-Touch Fabric with Flexible Structure
Dense Coverage without a Rigid Woven Feel
The heavyweight polyester construction gives the jacket enough structure to hold the collar, pocket flaps and front placket. Unlike a conventional rigid trucker jacket, the 6% spandex content provides additional movement through the shoulders, elbows and shaped body panels.
Brushed Surface and Appearance Control
The fabric has a matte suede-like appearance rather than a smooth technical finish. The exact brushing or surface-treatment standard should be confirmed from an approved fabric swatch. Abrasion, pilling, colorfastness and surface recovery should be tested before bulk cutting.
Trucker-Jacket Front Architecture
The front combines a horizontal chest yoke with vertical shaping seams and two symmetrical flap pockets. These construction lines give the jacket a more defined fit while retaining the recognizable utility character of a classic trucker silhouette.
Yoke height, pocket position and panel-seam placement should be graded together. Changing only one measurement can make the pockets appear too high, shift the visual waistline or create uneven proportions in larger sizes.
Flap Pockets and Snap Hardware
Two chest pockets use shaped lower panels and pointed flaps with metal snap closures. Pocket width, flap angle and snap position should remain mirrored across both sides of the garment.
Snap attachment pressure requires testing with the 420 GSM fabric. Excessive pressure may leave visible impressions or damage the brushed surface, while insufficient reinforcement may allow the hardware to loosen during repeated use.
Point Collar and Front-Placket Stability
The structured point collar frames the neckline and supports open or fully fastened styling. Collar spread, point length and internal support should be balanced so both sides sit evenly without curling after pressing or laundering.
The center-front placket must remain straight when the snaps are closed. Stabilization may be required to prevent stretching, rippling or unequal front lengths caused by the stretch body fabric.
Sleeve Shape and Adjustable Snap Cuffs
The long sleeves finish with narrow cuff tabs and metal snaps. Cuff circumference and sleeve opening can be adjusted for a straighter finish or a closer wrist fit, depending on the intended collection direction.
Sleeve pitch, elbow room and cuff placement should be reviewed during fitting. The fabric has enough stretch for movement, but seam extension must remain compatible to avoid thread breakage or restrictive sleeve seams.
Custom Options for Private Label Programs
Private label suede-touch trucker-jacket development may include:
- Alternative polyester blends, fabric weights and brushed finishes
- Cropped, waist-length, standard or oversized body proportions
- Custom collars, yoke shapes and body-panel placements
- Branded snaps, buttons, zippers or concealed closures
- Flap pockets, welt pockets or side-entry pocket options

Sample approval should confirm the surface finish, collar shape, placket alignment, pocket symmetry, snap strength, sleeve mobility and post-wash measurements before bulk production begins.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this jacket made from genuine suede?
No. The listed composition is polyester and spandex. The suede-like appearance comes from the fabric surface treatment rather than genuine leather.
Can the body be made more oversized?
Yes. Chest width, shoulder extension, sleeve volume and body length can be adjusted for fitted, relaxed or oversized trucker-jacket proportions.
Can the metal snaps be customized?
Yes. Snap diameter, finish, color and branding can be selected according to the approved trim standard and fabric thickness.
What should be confirmed before manufacturing?
Confirm the brushing reference, surface durability, collar dimensions, pocket position, snap strength, body length, sleeve fit, shrinkage and finished measurements.
