Product Details

This custom thermalfleece side-stripe track pant combines a relaxed straight-leg silhouette with an elastic waistband, slanted hand pockets and three contrast stripes running along the outer leg. The 430 GSM blended knit gives the pant a substantial hand and clean fall, while 5% spandex adds flexibility for everyday movement. The dark charcoal body and light side stripes create a retro-sport direction suitable for athleisure, streetwear, travel and coordinated casual sets.

430 GSM Blended Knit with a Dense, Relaxed Drape
Multi-Fiber Balance for Handfeel and Shape
The fabric combines acrylic and polyester for body and dimensional stability, acetate and rayon for a smoother surface and softer fall, and a small wool component for a warmer hand. Spandex adds enough give to improve comfort at the waist, hip and knee without turning the pant into a compression style.
Weight Matters to the Straight-Leg Silhouette
At 430 GSM, the fabric is considerably heavier than standard lightweight track-pant jersey. The pattern therefore needs enough ease through the seat and thigh so the garment hangs cleanly instead of appearing stiff. During sampling development, waistband tension, pocket opening and leg fall should be reviewed together before grading.
Triple Side Stripes as the Main Visual Feature
The three contrast stripes create the strongest identity on the garment and need consistent spacing from the upper hip through the hem. Stripe width, distance from the side seam and color contrast should be approved on the sample so the detail remains visually straight when the pant is worn.
Attachment tension also matters. If the tape or inserted stripe structure behaves differently from the main body fabric, the side seam may twist or ripple after washing. Bulk checks should include stripe alignment, leg symmetry and hem level.
Elastic Waistband and Pocket Construction
The waistband uses an elasticized construction for an easy pull-on fit without visible external drawcords. Elastic extension and recovery should be controlled so the waist stays secure while remaining comfortable for long wear.
Slanted pockets are integrated into the front side area without adding bulky patch construction. Pocket depth, opening angle and bag attachment should be tested against the heavy fabric weight to prevent the opening from stretching or pulling outward.
Category Positioning for Sweatpants and Track Bottoms
This style fits naturally within a Sweatpants & Leggings assortment, but its side-stripe treatment gives it a more defined track-pant identity than a basic lounge bottom. It can be paired with zip jackets, cropped sweatshirts or fitted tops to build coordinated travel and streetwear capsules.
The straight-leg proportion also gives the pant broader styling use than a cuffed jogger, allowing the same silhouette to move between casual dressing and sport-inspired collections.
Bulk Control for Stripe Placement and Heavy Knit Handling
Because the fabric is dense and the side detail runs almost the full garment length, cutting accuracy and feeding control are important. Small differences between left and right legs can become obvious once the three stripes are viewed side by side.
Consistent cutting, seam allowance control and final measurement checks are easier to maintain when supported by appropriate vertical integration capacity, especially for programs that require the same stripe placement and garment balance across multiple sizes.
Custom Options for Private Label Track Pants
Private label side-stripe pant development may include:
- Alternative blended knit qualities, GSM levels and surface finishes
- Single, double or triple side-stripe constructions
- Custom stripe widths, colors and placement
- Straight-leg, relaxed, tapered or wider silhouettes
- Alternative waistband, pocket and hem constructions
- Custom labels, logo applications, hangtags and branded packaging
Before bulk release, the sample should confirm waist recovery, hip ease, stripe alignment, pocket stability, leg symmetry, inseam and finished hem position.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can the side stripes use custom colors?
Yes. Stripe color, width and spacing can be developed according to the brand palette or seasonal collection direction.
Can the pant be made wider?
Yes. Thigh width, knee width and hem circumference can be adjusted for a more relaxed or wide-leg proportion.
Can the waistband include a drawcord?
Yes. An internal or external drawcord can be added if the collection requires additional waist adjustment.
What should be confirmed before manufacturing?
Confirm fabric weight, waist recovery, stripe specification, pocket construction, leg measurements, shrinkage and finished garment dimensions.
Approve Stripe Alignment and Waist Recovery before Bulk
Review the sample for waistband comfort, pocket shape, side-stripe spacing, left-to-right leg symmetry and finished length. For sampling and quotation, provide the target quantity, size range, preferred fit, stripe colors, waistband requirements, logo details, labels, packaging information and available technical files.
