Product Details

This custom women’s wool-blend bomber jacket combines a pointed collar, curved front-panel seams and substantial rib finishing with a relaxed short silhouette. The dropped shoulder line leaves room for layering without making the shape look oversized. It is suited to women’s casualwear, commuter and soft outerwear collections that need a practical mid-layer with clean structure.

Design details Pointed collar, full front zip, curved panel seams, flap pockets, ribbed cuffs and hem

Lightweight Body with Structured Rib Finishing

160 GSM Multi-Fiber Main Fabric

The 160 GSM main fabric contains 65.3% polyester, 15.4% rayon, 8.9% nylon, 6.2% acrylic and 4.2% sheep wool. Polyester supports dimensional stability, while rayon softens the fall through the body. Nylon and acrylic add resilience, and the wool content brings a lightly warm, softly textured character without excessive weight.

450 GSM 2×2 Rib at Cuffs and Hem

The 450 GSM 2×2 rib is substantially heavier than the main body. Its denser structure gives the cuffs and hem enough recovery to hold the bomber shape and stabilize the lighter shell. Rib tension should be matched to the sleeve and body measurements so the openings sit neatly without excessive gathering.

Panel Balance, Zip Alignment and Pocket Construction

The jacket uses a full-length zip beneath a pointed collar, with curved seam lines shaping the front. These seams need to match evenly from left to right because they sit close to the flap pockets. The zip should run straight from neckline to hem, while both collar points need balanced shape and clean turning.

Sampling and in-line inspection should also cover pocket placement, flap symmetry, snap security, shoulder balance, sleeve pitch, rib recovery and pressing response. These checks help maintain the approved silhouette in repeatable bulk production.

Positioning for Casual and Commuter Collections

The jacket fits women’s casualwear, commuter and relaxed lifestyle ranges. Its short body works with high-waisted trousers, skirts and denim, while the neutral surface coordinates easily with knit tops and lightweight layers. The tailored collar, front zip and bomber-style rib position it between a soft overshirt and a more structured outerwear piece.

Private Label Development Options

Custom women’s outerwear development may include:

  • Alternative body colors and coordinated or contrast rib shades
  • Adjustments to fabric weight, surface texture and blend direction
  • Custom zipper finishes, pullers, snaps and pocket details
  • Changes to body length, sleeve volume, collar shape or panel lines
  • Woven labels, care labels, hangtags and branded packaging
  • Embroidery, patches or other logo applications after artwork review

Development can follow a tech pack, reference garment or revised design brief. When the shell fabric or rib changes, both materials should be sampled together to confirm recovery, hem balance and overall shape before approval.

Sampling and Production Planning

Sampling is used to review fabric hand, collar shape, panel alignment, zipper operation, pocket placement and rib tension. Order quantities can be discussed according to fabric availability, custom colors and trim selection. For an accurate quotation, provide the target quantity, size range, preferred colors, branding method and any reference measurements or technical files.
